Getting started
Every ArboraX tool runs entirely in your browser. There is nothing to install and no account to create — open a tool and start working. Your progress is saved automatically on your own device, so you can close the tab and pick up exactly where you left off next time.
- No sign-up. Open any app from the Tools page and begin immediately.
- Autosave. Changes are written to your browser as you work — there's no "save" button to remember.
- One device, one browser. Because data is stored locally, your work lives in the browser you created it in.

Where your data lives
Each tool saves your work using your browser's local storage. In plain terms, everything you create stays on your device and is never uploaded to an ArboraX server.
- Data persists between visits in the same browser on the same device.
- Switching browsers or devices, or using private/incognito mode, starts fresh — data does not follow you.
- Clearing your browser's site data or storage will remove your saved work, so export anything important first.
Importing & exporting
Because your data is local, exporting is how you back it up or move it between devices. Tools that hold meaningful data include an export action, usually near the top-level menu.
- Export writes your current data to a file you can keep or transfer.
- Import loads a previously exported file back into the tool — useful for moving to a new device.
- Keep periodic exports of anything you'd hate to lose; local storage is convenient but not a backup.
Tips & shortcuts
- Any analytics or insights view inside a tool only ever summarises your own local data.
- The tools are fully responsive — the same work is available on desktop and mobile within the same browser profile.
- Prefer keyboard flow? Most primary actions surface with a clear button so you're never hunting through menus.
Troubleshooting
My data disappeared
The most common cause is opening the tool in a different browser or device, or the browser clearing its storage. Check that you're on the same browser you started in, and restore from an export if you have one.
The tool won't load
Refresh the page. If that fails, confirm your browser is up to date and that extensions aren't blocking scripts — the tools rely on standard, modern browser features.
